General Membership Information
Membership is required to participate in all club activities. Individual programs, trips, course fees, are in addition to the membership fee. In addition to payment of a membership fee and completion of a membership application, the following is required:
Mini Members (3 years old and toilet trained to 5 years old and not yet in kindergarten) are required to submit a medical form signed and stamped by a doctor showing proof of immunization.

- Membership Record Form (both sides)
- BlueCard
- Members with allergies are required to submit an Individual Health Care Plan signed by the parent and the doctor as well as provide the Club with the needed medication to be kept on site.

Before and After School Programs
Designed to meet the needs of a growing number of parents who work and need dependable child care. The programs provide structured, well-planned and fun activities in a caring atmosphere at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse for children who reside in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District. The Before and After School Programs offer a safe and caring environment, with quality recreational activities. The programs include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, music, movies, story time, and homework help. In addition to these activities, the children will learn socialization skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The program is coordinated by a Child Care Director with experience in administering a school-age child care program. Program instructors and additional staff members are selected with the needs and safety of the children in mind. The N.Y.S. Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment and Lexis Nexis proprietary National Criminal File clear all staff members.

Summer Camp
Our traditional Summer Camp provides full-day child care and organized recreational and enriching activities, including gym time daily and outdoor activities to promote physical fitness and fun, access to the game rooms, kitchen, arts and crafts, computers/technology and movie time. Campers must be entering kindergarten as of September 2023 and not starting 8th grade. Campers will be divided into grade-specific sub-groups: Minis, Grades K-2, and Grades 3-8. Your child will come home tired each day from the fun they’ve had and be eager to share their experiences and adventures. Kid-friendly meals at lunchtime are served for an additional charge. |
Mini-Members Pre-K Program
This program gives your Pre-K aged child the opportunity to explore, create, and learn once per month during the school year! Mini-Members Pre-K Program offers: Half Day Opportunities during school breaks and Summer Camp All mini-members who are between three and five years old and are potty-trained may apply. |
Terms & Conditions
You must be a Boys & Girls Club member in order to participate in any Club activities or programs. A membership fee and completion of the membership application, bluecard and signed receipt of the member/parent handbook, are required to join. Mini members (3 years old and toilet trained to 5 years old, not yet in kindergarten) require a current physical. Membership is valid until 12/31 of the current year. The Club reserves the right to cancel events with insufficient enrollment and to modify events, as necessary.
There are no refunds for absences, changes, withdrawals or terminations.
