Congratulations to Suffolk County resident Brian Sullivan, a long-time bartender at the Coach Grille in Oyster Bay, who was the lucky winner of the $10,000 Dream Vacation to Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina raffle sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club Oyster Bay-East Norwich. Brian’s winning stub was drawn at the Club’s annual President’s Cup Golf Tournament in May, 2016 at the Pine Hollow Country Club. The raffle was highly sought after, with a grand prize of a three-night stay for four people at one of the Pinehurst Resort Lodges, plus $2,500 towards travel expenses, meals, four rounds of golf, including a round on the famous Pinehurst No. 2, the centerpiece of Pinehurst Resort, one of the world’s most celebrated golf courses.
“I couldn’t believe it when I got the call that I won,” said Sullivan. “I never expected to win; I just wanted to support the Club and my friends who chair the event.”
Brian, who has worked at the Coach Grille for 22 years, plans to take his vacation with family and friends this Spring.
